The Pinkpress Publication, Gay Clubs Bastylia, Paradise and Sikstinajn were ones of the sponsors of 2002 Gay Pride Parade in Warsaw.On Thursday, July 4th. at 2 pm a conference was held at Metropolitan Center of Cultural Education in Warsaw dedicated standards indiscrimination based on sexual orientation in European Union's countries. The reports were presented by professor Maria Szyszkowska, Maecenas Tadeusz de Virion and Marek Szymczyk from Helsinki's Foundation of Human Rights.
At 8 pm. Gay Club 69 located at 28 Piekna Street invited anybody who can sing - karaoke with all gay hits.
July 5th.
At Paradise Club located at 5 Wawelska Street you could see an exhibition of gay erotic photographs and paintings.
The busiest day for the sponsors was Saturday July 6th. Club Paradise invited all gay organizations and whoever interested in gay matters for open workshop . Some of the matters were discussed such as legalisation of gay couples, HIV/AIDS prevention and how to guard yourself and the others, Gay and Lesbian Rights in European Union and how to apply them in Poland and how to prevent discrimination at work.
At 4:30 pm Picnic Pride Party was open at One Way pub by Wistula River with a lots of grilled food and at 9 pm dancing and huge party was held at Club 69.
On the last day of Gay Pride Days, Sunday, many organizations have meet at Club Paradise for a picnic. Also that day everybody had a lot of fun dancing to the music and eating grilled food.
